Known for his famous songs like ‘Bolna’ and ‘Aankh Maarey’, Tanishk Bagchi is a singer, music producer, composer, and lyricist in the Indian music industry. After completing his schooling in Kolkata, Bagchi started his career in the music industry. Initially, he started working on Bengali songs and released his first album, ‘City Life in Kolkata’, in 2007 and his second album, ‘Chokher Araley’, in 2010. Bagchi’s debut in Bollywood as a music producer came with the song ‘Meherbani’ from the movie ‘The Shaukeens’. Following its release, he collaborated with Vayu Shrivastava and released his single ‘Oopar Oopar Renn De’. The song caught Anurag Kashyap’s attention, who introduced him to a relative of Aanand L Rai, following which Bagchi got a chance to work in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ (2015). He debuted as a solo composer for the song ‘Samandar’ from the 2015 film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’. Later, his songs like ‘Bolna’, ‘The Humma Song’, ‘Tamma Tamma’, ‘Humsafar’, ‘Baarish’, and many more earned him a lot of popularity. As of 2021, Bagchi was working on songs in several Bollywood movies like ‘Bhuj’, ‘Bell Bottom’, and ‘Sooryavanshi’, among other mainstream films.
